The purpose of this blog is to provide the only resource you’ll need for parenting tips, ideas, and advice – for all seasons of parenthood. The parenting advice comes from the best source – other parents just like you! Parenting is a tough job and when you have questions, you want reach out to friends and family for advice. Wouldn’t it be great to have a larger group of friends and family from which to gather parenting advice? My goal is to have parents all over the world – YOU – submit tips, ideas, and advice to me, and then I will share them with all of you. Parents helping parents – what a concept!

The parenting tips, ideas, and advice provided on this blog will cover all ages and stages of children, from infants through teens. In addition, here are some other areas I will focus on:

  • Parenting Buzz: I will talk about relevant news articles and gadgets that grab my attention.
  • Polls: Want to know where other parents stand on certain topics?
  • Product Reviews: I’ll tell you all about stuff I like – and don’t like.
  • My life: It wouldn’t be a parenting blog without sharing my own experiences, adventures, and sometimes mishaps during this journey.

About me:

My husband and I had our first child, G, in March of 2007. We knew parenthood would be tough, but we didn’t realize exactly how tough it would be. We sought help from all our friends and family with children (which are all our friends and family). And I am lucky enough to live in an area that has a local mom’s message board, where I was able to ask questions and receive advice. It really does take a village to raise a child.

I am also very interested in natural living. I know that can mean different things to different people. For us, it means we eat organic food, use organic or natural products for our home and for our bodies, and are very into natural health and wellness. Our son was born in a free-standing birth center with a midwife attending and I breastfed him until he was 28.5 months old.

In addition to raising our son, I keep busy with my hobbies: photography, scrapbooking, exercising, reading, and of course blogging.
